Making Music in Hawaii is amazing. In one day I learned a Hawaiian Chant, recorded Salsa Dura, rehearsed a new Musical Theater piece, and topped it off with Jazz. To me that’s better than an ice cream cone with all of my favorite flavors. I delight in the challenges of Language and Musical nuance. I am humbled by the opportunity to dive into all of the rich musical flavors and cultures of the people on this island. To me this is the beauty of music, the blending and harmony of all of us.
